The 1890 Captain’s House B&B is a small property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days (when booking 1 (one) or 2 (two) rooms/suites) or 14 (fourteen) days (when booking 3 or more rooms/suites) prior to your arrival date.There is a minimum of a $25 processing fee per room/suite for all cancellations. Guests reserving rooms for weddings,group functions or booking the entire house, will be charged 50% non-refundable deposit. A 2 week notice of cancelation is required or the entire rental fee will be charged. We require this since most rooms are booked months in advance and are difficult to rebook on short notice. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full refund will be made less a $25 processing fee per room/suite. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. Check-in: 4:00 PM - 600 PM. Please call if arriving after 6pm. Check-out: 12:00 Noon. Outside smoking, away from the house, is permitted. Due to the historic nature of the Captain’s House, smoking, candle burning or incense burning is not permitted indoors or on the balcony. Guest causing damage due to this will be responsible for all damages including loss of use. There will be a minimum fee of $200 if evidence of this is found in the room. We apologize that we can not accommodate children under the age of 14. Sorry, no pets allowed. Note: Gift Certificates ordered online are good for 6 months of purchase date.
