In 2005 Reservation Nexus entered the reservation software industry with a very fresh approach to online bookings. Every online booking system on the market had copied one another on a tired idea: force guests to enter stay information before displaying rooms with their corresponding beautiful pictures. The question we asked ourselves was, "Why not go straight to displaying room pictures right from the start? That's what sells guests. Why force guests to fill in the stay date, number of nights, number of guests, etc. when those things often change during the booking process?" With Reservation Nexus, the "Check Availability / Make a Reservation" button on an inn's website allows guests to immediately see an inn's room pictures with corresponding availability. This fresh approach has wow factor. Guests are instantly enthralled with the room pictures and start figuring out when they can stay and for how long. They will often adjust their original stay date in order to get the room they have fallen in love with.
