Front Desk Page - A Reservation Nexus Innovation

In 2007, Reservation Nexus replaced the "Checking in, Checking Out" feature with enhanced front desk management. Front Desk provides an all-in-one view of arrivals, departures, and stay-overs. New arrivals are displayed by the estimated arrival time. The other two groups are displayed by guest names. The innovative front desk page is far from static. All reservation details include links that can re-direct you to access pertinent guest information. Payment on a reservation can also be collected from the front desk page as well as the ability to update the room status.

When reminders were added to Reservation Nexus, the following year, we made sure to add a feature to the reminders page to add reminders to the front desk page. This meant that reminders could be added to the front desk for innkeepers who need to send notes to their front desk staff or staff members who need to send reminders to themselves.

The front desk page was designed to be all-inclusive and seamlessly easy to manage so that innkeepers don't have to fumble around for reservation details while the guests are waiting on them.
