How do I offer retail items by phone and online?

Once you log into Reservation Nexus (ResNexus) go to Settings -> Retail. This will open the RETAIL page.

Click on the retail item highlighted in blue you want to offer by phone and/or online. This will pull up the RETAIL INFORMATION page.

Notice that there are a couple of different headings in bold on this page. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the heading Options:. Under Options: you can select whether you would like to offer your retail item for online purchase or by phone only.

If you want your retail item to be available for online viewing but would like to offer it by phone make sure you select the "Must be ordered by phone" box in addition to selecting the "This retail item is available online" box. Then select which tab you would like it to be available under such as Gift Shop or Specials & Packages or a new tab created by you.

When you check the "Must be ordered by phone" box in addition to selecting the "This retail item is available online" box, the retail item will be displayed to guests as "Call Us" on your Online Reservation System.

Thereby advertising the item but not releasing it for immediate availability. This is a useful feature for retail items that may not available on short notice like fresh flowers or retail itesm that require appointed times such as massages.

Click "Save" to finalize and update all changes.
