What is the difference between preferences and reservation notes?Reservation notes are only for the specific reservation. Use "Guest" preferences/special needs to record permanent guest notes. Click   For example, a guest who is allergic to strawberries should be recorded in guest preferences/special needs to inform you the next time that guest stays with you. Or if a guest breaks a lamp, reservation notes are ideal for recording issues for the innkeeper. Reservation notes do get sent out in Confirmation and Cancellation Emails. If there's ever an issue reservation notes can be referenced to find out what happened. To lookup guest preferences/special needs log onto Reservation Nexus -> Reservations -> Search. Enter the guest's phone number, name or information number. Reservations in RED were cancelled. Click on the guest's reservation number highlighted in blue to pull up the guest's reservation information and other details.
