From July 10th to the 14th, the ResNexus Road Trip crew hit the open road once again, immersing ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes of the Mount Hood area in Oregon and southern Washington. This adventure marked our 40th road trip and our 32nd U.S. state.

Our journey covered diverse terrain, from scenic Mount Hood to the inviting Hood River and the distinctive "desert" vibes of Maupin, Oregon. Did you know that Mount Hood is the only place in the Northern Hemisphere with year-round skiing? No wonder it's so popular!

ResNexus Road Trip in Mount Hood, Oregon

From July 10th to the 14th, the ResNexus Road Trip crew hit the open road once again, immersing ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes of the Mount Hood area in Oregon and southern Washington. This adventure marked our 40th road trip and our 32nd U.S. state.

Our journey covered diverse terrain, from scenic Mount Hood to the inviting Hood River and the distinctive "desert" vibes of Maupin, Oregon. Did you know that Mount Hood is the only place in the Northern Hemisphere with year-round skiing? No wonder it's so popular!

We visited 10 properties on this Road Trip, bringing our total to 545 properties visited across 40 Road Trips!

Our home base for this trip was the delightful Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, tucked away on the east side of Mount Hood. Offering homestead cabins, condo-style rooms, and traditional hotel-style accommodations.

The resort seamlessly blends comfort with natural beauty. With a fabulous restaurant, a gaming area, walking trails, and lift tickets for the Mt Hood Meadows ski resort available all year round, there's something for every traveler. Not to mention, they host weddings!

The team, led by the energetic general manager Barb and about 8 or 9 other fantastic individuals, left an indelible mark on our stay.
