Today we're going to go over 10 powerful features that are offered by ResNexus.

1. Online Booking Engine

Having an online booking system is essential to running a property management business. Everyone books online nowadays, and you need to make sure that you have that option available for your guests. That's why our booking engine has large, easy-to-see room pictures to entice customers.

We also match your booking engine to your website. This helps your customer have a cohesive booking experience when going from your website to your booking platform.

2. Sidebars

These are a great way to showcase your retail items or specials and packages. You can also customize instructions and notifications for your guests (office hours, policies, testimonials). Let side bars work for you.

3. Effective Minimum Nights Principles

During a high demand period, set a minimum night requirement to maximize revenues and decrease workload. You can also use the auto-drop feature as the time nears to allow for last-minute bookings to fill holes.

4. Yield management

Yield management allows you to adjust your pricing based on your occupancy for a certain date. This allows you to automatically adjust your rates to fit the demand for your customer, which maximizes your revenue. You can also adjust prices based on how far in advance your guests are booking.

This helps you meet supply and demand in the industry, so make sure to price your rooms at the appropriate cost.

5. Point of Sale (POS)

This is an amazing feature if you have a small store or a gift shop on site. It's also great if you have a lot of retail items that you offer while your guests are staying with you. You can use this for an on-site restaurant, too. You can go in and put in your orders for food or retail items in our point of sale system.

You can even use a barcode scanner. We do have that functionality.

6. Fractional Bookings

Do you have a room that needs to be booked with another room? Or do you rent your whole house and need the rooms to automatically show as occupied? If you said yes to these questions, then fractional bookings is a great feature for you. This feature either books those rooms together, requiring guests to pay for both rooms, or blocks them out.

7. Cart Abandonment

This feature allows you to set an automatic reminder or follow-up email to a guest who started a reservation on the booking engine but didn't finish it. We can capture their emails in two ways: creating a sidebar where they can enter their email for your newsletter or when the guest enters their email in the check-out.

One thing to note is that when the guest enters their email address in the cart abandonment sidebar, they're automatically subscribed to your marketing or newsletter email list. They agreed to receive those. If a guest enters their email address when they're checking out, they will not be added to your marketing list but they will still receive the cart abandonment email.

8. Automatic Marketing

In our system, we send out emails such as:

Our builder now uses a drag and drop to help you build emails easier.

9. Direct Connect

We came out with Direct Connect to make it easier for your guests to find your business and make reservations using online travel agencies like Expedia, Booking.com and Airbnb. We have direct connections to all three of these OTAs. Your rates and availability are automatically updated on these sites, so you don't have to adjust them constantly.

When you receive a reservation via an OTA, it'll go into your ResNexus system and help combat double bookings.

10. ResNexus Websites

Our websites are seamlessly connected to your ResNexus software. Pictures from your room can directly appear on your website. You can update your ResNexus website whenever you want using our in-house builder.
