We collect personal information to provide an efficient reservation and customized lodging experience. For example, we receive and store personal information you provide online, over the phone and/or in person. This includes information that can identify you, including your first and last name, telephone number, postal and email addresses, and billing information (such as your credit card number, cardholder name, and card expiration date). We may also request information about your activities during your visit, including meal preferences and allergies so we can contribute to you having positive experience during your visit to the area. Sometimes we use data collection devices, called “cookies” on our website to track page effectiveness and guest insights. Cookies are small files that are downloaded to your computer when visiting a website. You can decline cookies at any time or delete them from your computer.

Security

Any identifiable information you provide is not disclosed or shared with anyone. Terrapin Peak Bed, Breakfast & Beyond does not give or sell any information we collect. When you make a reservation we take every precaution to safe guard your information online and offline. Your payment and personal information is always safe. The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software used by our reservation and book keeping software companies meets industry standards and encrypts personal data including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the Internet. If we do become affected by a data breach, we will take steps to notify the appropriate authorities within 72 hours as well as contacting all those involved in the breach providing details of the situation.

Terrapin Peak Bed, Breakfast & Beyond may change or modify this Privacy Policy in the future. We will note the date that revisions were last made to this Privacy Policy at the bottom of this page, and any revisions will take effect upon posting.

ResNexus

Our property uses ResNexus to provide online reservation services.

Privacy

ResNexus respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. Your personal information is collected and stored to facilitate online reservations with our property. Basic information concerning your visit to this site is used by ResNexus to improve its service. Your data is never shared with unauthorized outside parties or sold.

ResNexus has complied with the the foundation principles of GDPR from at least 2010 on and is proud to be GDPR compliant with regards to breach notifications, right to access, right to be forgotten, data portability, privacy by design, and data protection officers. Security

ResNexus uses industry-standard encryption to protect your personal and payment information during and after your reservation. After your reservation is complete, the system removes your credit card information to prevent theft or disclosure. ResNexus meets or exceeds rigorous industry standards for protecting credit card information and is PCI compliant. This PCI compliance has been verified by an external auditor.

As required by law for owner-occupied properties that have more than 5 units*, properties with 6 units or more should provide a unit that is reserved for customers with disabilities. The property should clearly identify these units and describe the accessible features in sufficient detail to reasonably permit individuals with disabilities to assess independently whether the given unit meets his or her accessibility needs. When selecting an ADA designated unit, if you do not have accessibility or other disability needs, please click cancel and select another unit unless it is the last unit available. If you do not meet the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for this unit and it is not the last unit available, the property reserves the right to change your reservation to another unit without your permission to accommodate customers with qualifying disabilities.
