This gift certificate can be used for a stay at Verdant View Farm B&B! Call us at 717-687-7353 and mention this gift certificate when making a reservation or reserve online and use the code listed in the email at checkout.

Rates are based on occupancy and season. Rates begin at 2 guests per room (or up to 4 guests for 2-room suites). An additional $15/person/night is automatically added when the guest count increases (includes children ages 2 and up).

Quoted rates include the following:

Farm breakfast, featuring homegrown and locally sourced foods. Served at 8:30am at the farmhouse Mon-Sat; a complimentary breakfast voucher is provided on Sunday mornings at a nearby restaurant.
Morning chores. Milk a cow, interact with farm animals, play with the farm dog and cats, and stroll around the farm. Offered at 7:30am Mon-Sat and at 8:30am on Sun.
Overnight stay.

1896 Farmhouse (Rooms 1-5)

Guest rooms are all on 2nd floor. Individual air conditioners in each bedroom. Refrigerator/freezer accessible 24/7 outside the guest entrance. Wifi. Small sitting room on 1st floor. **Please note - Farmhouse rooms do not have access to a kitchen.

Cottage (Rooms 6-9)

A five-minute walk down the farm lane (or 30 second drive) is the Cottage. Located within close proximity to our busy road. Fully-equipped kitchen, small dining area, and living room. Three units, each with their own private bath. Free WIFI. Ideal for Scout groups, family reunions, and school groups. Rooms can be reserved individually or as a whole house rental. Individual air conditioners in all bedrooms.

7:30am (Mon-Sat)/ 8:30am (Sun) Morning Chores: Milk a cow, venture inside the chicken coop to check for eggs, and interact with the farm crew. Overnight guests also enjoy meandering around the farm with Scooby, the farm dog, and playing with the barn cats.

8:30am (Mon-Sat) Breakfast: Wash hands and head to the farmhouse

9:30am (Mon-Sat) Farm Store Opens : Discover homegrown meats and eggs, our farm cookbook, and other local goodies in our small farm store. Checking-out?? Handle your final payment with a farm crew member in the Farm Store between 9:30-10am.

10:00ish: Unstructured Fun: The best farm experience includes free play. Following breakfast, many children find themselves playing ball in the backyard, cuddling a favorite cat or goat, or venturing through the gardens. Adults enjoy sitting outside the veranda, chatting with other guests, soaking up the precious moment of downtime while they finish their cup of coffee, and watching their kids make new friends. This unstructured time is what many kids love most about their trip to the farm.
