ResNexus charges a simple flat rate based off of your units and season. In addition, we provide peace of mind with our Lifetime Pricing Guarantee. eviivo offers a wide selection of template websites. Their pricing starts at £20. Unlike ResNexus, eviivo's websites are a build it yourself model. eviivo does provide a list of website design companies on their partners page if you do not have time to build the website yourself.

When it comes to shopping online, bigger is better. ResNexus showcases your rooms beautifully, with thumbnail pictures that are over twice the size of the default thumbnail pictures found on eviivo.
Small Room Pictures
Depending on your settings, eviivo's thumbnail pictures are smaller than the thumbnail pictures on ResNexus. Both ResNexus and eviivo let the guest click on an additional link to view larger pictures. In addition, eviivo does allow you to show your room pictures at the same size as ResNexus.

eviivo Hides Prices
Like ResNexus, eviivo does show your inventory right from the start. But instead of selecting the current date, eviivo requires your guest to first select a date before the booking engine will show a price. In addition, eviivo does not allow your guest to shop by special or package first.
ResNexus Shows Your Availability While Shopping On Both Whole Property and Individual Unit
Right from the start your guest can see what they want to see: your rooms and units! If there is no vacancy then the guest can quickly select the 2-month or more calendar and see when the unit is available right from the start. Your guest doesn't have to guess what dates are available.
eviivo Shows Your Availability For the Whole Property
With eviivo, there is an option to show a 3-month availability calendar for the whole property. However, when the guest selects the available dates, eviivo then hides the units that are not available. In comparison, ResNexus still displays the unavailable units and allows the guest to search an individual calendar for that unit to find the next available dates for that specific unit.
With ResNexus Your Retail Items Stand Out Throughout the Shopping Experience
During the booking process, you can offer retail items, specials, or packages in an intuitive and eye-catching way through side bars. In addition, your guest is shown your add-ons again after they select the room and before payment is collected. Retail items can give your business thousands in additional revenue and enhance your guests' stay.

eviivo does let you see retail items during the check-out process after the guest has selected a room or unit under "optional extras." However the guest must click on "optional extras" to see them. This can result in the guest missing them completely.

During the booking process, your policies stand out because ResNexus uses a simple step-by-step progression throughout the reservation process. ResNexus allows you to call out or highlight the most important policies for your guests to know. In addition, you can require a signature or not.
eviivo Provides a Policy Link
With eviivo, your guest has scroll down the page to see your policies. eviivo also provides a link to click to view your policies and terms and conditions again at the end of the booking process. By displaying your policies at the bottom of the first page and at end of the booking process, potential guests might overlook or ignore your terms and conditions completely. Down the road, this could lead to guests leaving your business a bad review if policy misunderstandings occur. eviivo requires your guest to click and agree to your policies whether they have read them or not.
ResNexus Protects Your Business From Last-minute Cancellations Due to Illness
With ResNexus Travel Protection, you can protect your business from revenue losses from last-minute cancellations due to illness, injury, death or travel delay. Your guests can simply select the Travel Protection option during the booking process, and if they cancel for one of the protected reasons, both you and your guest will be reimbursed 100% of the booking cost minus the travel protection fee.
eviivo Does Not Integrate With a Trip Protection Service
eviivo does not currently provide a limited warranty trip protection integration. If a guest has to cancel last-minute due to illness or travel delay, your property must fall back on your own cancellation policies, which could result in a loss of revenue depending on the strictness of your terms and conditions. In the United States, eviivo does partner with Safely to provide damage protection caused by guests to vacation rentals.

eviivo Has Marketing Tools, but No Setup Assistance
eviivo does offer automatic email templates, but you have to set everything up yourself. You can send up to 9 scheduled emails to your guests: 3 pre-arrival, 3 during their stay, and 3 post-checkout. These 9 emails are in addition to the booking event-related emails such as confirmations & payment receipts.
Promotional Side Bars
With ResNexus, potential guests can see your top retail offers and specials right from the start. All your retail items are shown once the guest selects a room—something many of our competitors copied from us. In addition, your guest can choose to shop by special first and the ResNexus Online Booking Engine will guide the guest to select the qualifying dates and rooms.

ResNexus helps your property get found and get booked by integrating directly with OTAs such as Booking.com, Airbnb, TripAdvisor, and Expedia. In addition, ResNexus has a unique direct connection to Vrbo that does not use iCal. This helps prevent double bookings from having to manually enter in reservations from Vrbo. ResNexus also connects to the world's top glamping and campground OTAs. ResNexus offers commission-free pricing options to connect to the OTAs. This means that your business has zero additional commission fees charged by your PMS software. In addition, ResNexus does offer hundreds of additional OTA connections through our partnership with a 3rd-party channel manager.

They can then share this link with all the other group members, and you simply watch as the block fills up with individual bookings. Guests can also make individual payments. This allows the group to decide amongst themselves where to put everyone in the most efficient way. And each guest must agree to your policies as part of this process, so no one is allowed to slip through the cracks. Finally, each guest in the group receives their own automatic confirmation email for their specific reservation.

eviivo does have group booking functionality. But unlike ResNexus, it does not have a specific booking engine link to organise the rooms and collect payment from each and every guest in the party.
ResNexus Travel Protection Can Save You Time When Managing Last-Minute Cancellations
In the event the guest cannot make their reservation due to one of a wide variety of unforeseen illnesses or health conditions, they can apply for a 100% room reimbursement any time up to 14 days before the departure date or up to 30 days after. The automated Travel Protection refund portal looks like your online booking engine and helps reduce the headache of managing the administration of refund processing. In addition, much of the refund or reimbursement process is automatically handled by ResNexus on your behalf. This reduces back-and-forth phone calls or emails with the guest during the cancellation process.
eviivo Does Not Offer an Automated Travel Protection Refund Process
