That means you may need to operate multiple accounts and logins, pay more subscription fees, and work with support from multiple companies to resolve any issues that arise. In addition, with Lodgify you might pay a la carte for more specific features you may need. Lodgify does include a free template website for you to build yourself as part of their property management software subscription.

Like ResNexus, Lodgify charges a flat rate based off of your units. Their pricing for their Starter edition is $20 per month for a single unit property. They offer discounts to the flat fee if you will enter into a year or 2-year contract. In addition, Lodgify charges 1.9% booking fee on all bookings on their Starter plan–including those received from your free website and the API connected OTAs. Lodgify integrates with Safely travel insurance. If a guest has to cancel last-minute due to travel delay such and a missed flight, vehicle breakdown or adverse weather involving rain, your property must fall back on your own cancellation policies, which could result in a loss of revenue depending on the strictness of your terms and conditions. In the United States, Lodgify does partner with Safely and Superhog to provide damage protection caused by guests to vacation rentals.
Capture More Bookings with Cart Abandonment
Many times, a potential guest can get interrupted during the checkout process. ResNexus uses permission-based marketing to send that guest a reminder email to finish booking. In addition, ResNexus protects your clients' guest information and doesn’t sell it to 3rd-party marketing companies. In the event the guest cannot make their reservation due to a wide variety of reasons including illness, adverse weather, and other travel delays, they can apply for a 100% booking reimbursement any time up to 14 days before the departure date or up to 30 days after. The automated Travel Protection refund portal looks like your online booking engine and helps reduce the headache of managing the administration of refund processing. In addition, much of the refund or reimbursement process is automatically handled by ResNexus on your behalf. This reduces back-and-forth phone calls or emails with the guest during the cancellation process. The automated Travel Protection portal also lets the guest reschedule and change dates if necessary.
Lodgify Offers Travel Insurance Through Safely
Lodgify integrates with Safely travel insurance to protect your guest from sickness, death and other natural disasters. The travel insurance is separate from the Lodgify reservation and is owned by Safely. The guest will need to contact Safely directly to make changes to their coverage dates if they change the dates of their Lodgify reservation.
ResNexus Makes Weddings and Group Bookings Easy
ResNexus makes group bookings easy and saves your staff time. After your property has blocked off the dates and approximate number of rooms or units for the group, a custom booking engine link becomes available for you to send to the group coordinator. They can then share this link with all the other group members, and you simply watch as the block fills up with individual bookings. Guests can also make individual payments. This allows the group to decide amongst themselves where to put everyone in the most efficient way. And each guest must agree to your policies as part of this process, so no one is allowed to slip through the cracks. Finally, each guest in the group receives their own automatic confirmation email for their specific reservation.
Lodgify Does Not Have Group Bookings
Lodgify does not have group booking functionality. In addition, it does not have a specific booking engine link to organize the rooms and collect payment from each and every guest in the party.
ResNexus Wi-Fi Door Locks
ResNexus allows you to impress your guests by allowing them the freedom to access their room safely with ResNexus Wi-Fi Smart Locks. Guests use the last four digits of their mobile phone number for room access and their code only works during their stay dates.
