🌈TRAIL REPORT: Mar 26, 2025🌈 Well, we are down to a trace to 2 inches of snow as shown on the NOAA snow depth map for the 26th. The trails are great for hiking this time of the year. You can see far into the woods this time of the year. The trumpeter swans are in the river channel and can be seen and heard as you walk along the 3k River View Trail. Last weekend several grouse were also seen along the trail. Last weekend several grouse were also seen along the trail. Come on out and enjoy the early spring! We are looking forward to next winter. Becker County has over 250 miles of groomed trails. The Becker County trails connect to hundreds of other trails in the area. Ride to Detroit Lakes, the Shooting Star Casino, Park Rapids, the Headwaters of the Mississippi River in Itasca State Park and beyond. We have premium gas for your snowmobiles and some hot food, snacks and beverage in the lodge. After a day on the trails relax in the sauna, play some pool in our recreation center while watching some big games on TV and/or enjoy some hot food and beverages in the lodge while enjoying the scenic overview of the lake. Being located on the western slopes of the Laurentian Divide, we typically have good snow conditions by mid to late December and extending into mid-March.
